What an incredible journey, and I’m not talking about yesterday’s flight from Seattle to Glendale! This week is going to be a whirlwind. While it might seem easy to get caught up in all the action happening around the game, we are 100% focused on the task ahead. It helps that we’ve gone through this before, but when I think about what got me here and what keeps me grounded it really comes down to three things: the 12’s, the team, and my family.
Last night I had some time to reflect on this amazing journey before the chaos of Super Bowl week gets going. I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without my family. Growing up in Palmdale, California, my family instilled in me the work ethic and perseverance that helped get me to where I am today. To this day, my family supports me through tough times. And now that I’m getting married this summer, my family and support system is only growing.
Palmdale will always be a special place for me. From the memories at Highland High to Mayor Ledford naming a day after me (MARCH 6TH!!), I will always try to give back to the community that means so much to me. Overall, I just want to give a big shoutout to everyone who has supported me over the years. I wouldn’t be here without your support! Go Hawks!
