Moving on, moving forward

Moving on, moving forward

It’s unfortunate the way things turned out last night. It was an incredible game and I’m blessed to have the opportunity to play in my second Super Bowl in three years as a pro. It’s an experience that I will never forget. However, coming so close but just short of repeating as champions is tough. But that’s football. If you don’t learn to move on and move forward you don’t make it in this game. So that’s what I’m going to do.

Now it’s on to the offseason. I’m focused on continuing to improve and become a better football player. I’m a firm believer that success comes from hard work and perseverance so rest assured I will be putting in work this offseason. As a defensive back, I’m going to work on my strength, speed, footwork, agility and explosiveness so that I’ll be ready to make an impact when next season kicks off.

As you might know if you’ve been following along this season, I’m getting married! Now that the season is over I will have more time to help plan for the big day. Planning a wedding is definitely one way to get your mind off of last year’s season! There aren’t many things more memorable than playing in a Super Bowl, but I know that my wedding day will be one! Needless to say I’m really looking forward to this next chapter in my journey.

I want to thank all of the 12s and the city of Seattle for their support throughout this season. You are the best fans in the country! Thanks for following along on my journey. I’ll be posting more during this offseason, but don’t forget you can follow me on Twitter and Instagram!
